On January 5th 2016, Bailey's life and the lives of her two children, Oliver and Vylette changed forever. Bailey's husband and the children's father had taken his own life unexpectedly. Although, Bailey had known that he had some mental health issues in the past they were both seeking help with their relationship and as individuals. Nathan was working in a family owned NAPA store, and Bailey a stay at home mom taking care of her two wonderful children. Nathan was a caring ,loving, husband and father,
but he did carry demons with him throughout his life. Bailey noticed these things, thus, why they decided to start going to church again and seek out help from their pastor. Nathan, we thought was making improvements and seemed happier with life and eager to help others but all of that was proved wrong on January 5th when Bailey received the shocking and heart wrenching news that the love of her life and father of her children , took his own life. As the time came to make arrangements for Nathan's funeral services Bailey had found out that she was not the beneficiary (Nathan was unaware that he had to switch Bailey over to the beneficiary after they were married) on Nathans insurance, they had been married at this point for about 7 months. Nathan's mother was the beneficiary. Nathan's mother and Bailey never saw eye to eye but Bailey has always been respectful toward her, and kept in touch. Nathan's mother has not shown Bailey or the two children a dime of the money. She did pay for the funeral and headstone but did not let Bailey make any decisions toward any of it, his mother also made Bailey last in line to be paid respects at the funeral. After all of that Bailey had accepted that she would not see any of the insurance money, and the bills began to pile up. As if grieving isn't hard enough she then had to figure out how to live a life with minimal income and two children, talk about an entire lifestyle change. Bailey was a stay at home mom, and had no job to fall back on, no degree and no trade skills. Bailey now works at a cleaning job earning about 200$ a month. Bailey and her children moved out of their home and into her sister's basement, she had to majorly downsize her life and cram it into a small space. Even after all this this bills still keep piling. Since Bailey and Nathan were only together 7 months she does not receive any survivors benefits, nor does Vylette because she is not Nathans biological child. Oliver being Nathan's biological child is the only one receiving survivors benefits and it's just barely enough to cover the bills. They also receive food stamps but, it does not last the whole month and thats what part of her 200$ a month goes toward. A lot of the bills are from credit card debt that Nathan had racked up before his passing. The debt also stems from Vylette's hearing aids( click this link to donate towrd Vylette's hearing aids! https://www.youcaring.com/vylette-green-hill-384927). It would be greatly appreciated if this family could receive help to pay off the debt from her late husband, it would help ease some stress in their lives and allow them to get the things they need without feeling overwhelmed. Bailey and the children miss Nathan deeply and Bailey wants nothing more than to provide for her children and paying off this debt would help them so much!
