On Wednesday night, August 28th, someone we all know and care about was shot multiple times in a drive-by like ambush, right out in front on A Street, near the intersection with 15thStreet. It strongly seems like he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and wasn’t the intended target, as we know he is not the problem.
We’ve all been keeping him in our thoughts and prayers. And those seem to be working as we hear he’s stabilized this evening, and should get to leave the ICU in about a week.
But getting shot still sucks! A lot! So do the medical bills, and lost wages he’ll be dealing with when he gets out of the hospital and is dealing with the recovery ahead.
We been told his family and friends support this go-fund-me effort, so let start fundraising for Robert. No amount is too small! Not even $5.00.
