Hilfe für unsere kleine Sesam

Hallo mein Name ist Sesam! Ich bin 7 Jahre alt und wohne mit meiner Schwester Räubi und meinen Bezugsmenschen Jule und Linda zusammen im Leipziger Süden. Ich bin eigentlich eine lebensfrohe und sehr verschmuste Katze. Doch aktuell liege ich in einer Tierklinik und kämpfe darum, wieder auf die Pfoten zu kommen.

Vor ein paar Tagen ging es mir plötzlich sehr schlecht:

Ich konnte nicht mehr richtig laufen, habe nichts mehr gegessen oder getrunken, habe mich mehrfach übergeben, ich war schwach und still.

Meine Familie hat sofort gemerkt, dass etwas nicht stimmt und mich nachts in die Notfallambulanz gebracht.

Dort hat man festgestellt, dass ich einen schweren Kotstau im Enddarm hatte, mein Magen entzündet war, meine Leberwerte erhöht sind und mein Kreislauf fast zusammengebrochen ist. Trotz aller Hilfe wollte ich weder fressen noch trinken.

Dann hat sich auch noch meine Haut gelb verfärbt - ein Zeichen dafür, dass meine Leber vielleicht versagt. Da mir ambulant nicht geholfen werden konnte, bin ich jetzt stationär aufgenommen worden und muss wahrscheinlich 1-2 Wochen hier bleiben. Ich bekomme Infusionen, Schmerzmittel, Medikamente und wahrscheinlich bald eine Ernährungssonde.

Die nächsten Tage entscheiden, ob ich es schaffe. Die Behandlung kostet voraussichtlich 3.500-4.000€ (mögliche OPs sind da leider nicht mit eingerechnet), dazu kommen 800€ für die Notfallversorgung vorher und Medikamente.

Meine Familie tut alles für mich aber sie schaffen es nicht allein.

Deshalb bitten wir euch: wenn ihr ein paar Euro geben könnt, helft mir bitte, wieder gesund zu werden! Ich will so gerne wieder nach Hause und mit meiner Familie vereint sein.

Hello, my name is Sesam! I am 7 years old and live with my sister Räubi and my humans Jule and Linda in the south of Leipzig. Normally, I am a joyful and very cuddly cat. But right now, I am lying in an animal clinic, fighting to get back on my feet.

A few days ago, I suddenly started feeling very unwell:

I could barely walk, I stopped eating and drinking, I vomited several times, and I became weak and quiet.

My family immediately noticed that something was wrong and took me to the emergency clinic at night.

There, they discovered that I had a severe fecal impaction in my rectum, my stomach was inflamed, my liver values were elevated, and my circulation was close to collapsing. Despite all their help, I still wouldn’t eat or drink.

Then, my skin started turning yellow—a sign that my liver might be failing. Since they couldn’t help me as an outpatient, I have now been admitted to the hospital and will probably have to stay here for 1–2 weeks. I am getting IV fluids, pain medication, medicine, and will probably soon need a feeding tube.

The next few days will determine if I make it. The treatment is expected to cost €3,500–4,000 (possible surgeries not included). On top of that, there are €800 for the previous emergency care.

My family is doing everything they can for me, but they can’t manage this alone.

So we kindly ask: if you can spare a few euros, please help me get well again! I really want to go back home and be reunited with my family.
