Hallo, ich bin Corey.

Seit über 35 Jahren ist Skateboarding ein wichtiger Teil meines Lebens. 2002 gründete ich eine der ersten Skateboardschulen der Schweiz. In den vergangenen 24 Jahren durfte ich rund 4.000 Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene unterrichten.

Nun geht dieses Kapitel zu Ende. Ich verlasse die Schweiz, um in Costa Rica ein neues Leben aufzubauen – doch meine Arbeit mit Skateboarding soll weitergehen.

### EINE NEUE SKATEBOARDSCHULE IN COSTA RICA

Mein Ziel ist es, eine Outdoor-Mini-Ramp zu bauen und eine neue Skateboardschule und Community aufzubauen – in einer Region, in der es bisher nur wenige Möglichkeiten zum Skateboarden gibt.

Es soll ein Ort entstehen, an dem Menschen gemeinsam skaten, lernen und wachsen können – ein Ort für Bewegung, Kreativität, Selbstvertrauen und Gemeinschaft.

### DAS ZIEL

Ich sammle **CHF 20'000**, um eine rund 8 Meter breite Mini-Ramp und die notwendige Infrastruktur für einen sicheren und langlebigen Skate-Ort zu bauen.

### WERDE TEIL DES NÄCHSTEN KAPITELS

Nach 24 Jahren Skateboardschool Basel endet ein wichtiges Kapitel – doch die Geschichte kann auf der anderen Seite der Welt weitergehen.

Hi, I’m Corey.

Skateboarding has been a major part of my life for more than 35 years. In 2002, I founded one of Switzerland’s first skateboard schools, and over the past 24 years I’ve had the privilege of teaching around 4,000 children, teenagers and adults.

Now this chapter is coming to an end. I’m leaving Switzerland to build a new life in Costa Rica — but my work with skateboarding will continue.

### A NEW SKATEBOARD SCHOOL IN COSTA RICA

My goal is to build an outdoor mini ramp and create a new skateboard school and community in a region where opportunities to learn and practice skateboarding are still very limited.

I want to create a place where people can skate, learn, connect and grow — building confidence, creativity, courage and community.

### THE GOAL

I’m raising **CHF 20,000** to build an approximately 8-meter-wide mini ramp and the essential infrastructure needed for a safe and long-lasting skate facility.
