Hiking to Everest Base Camp Palestine Relief

Im a London-born Palestinian feeling deeply affected by the current events impacting my people as Im sure you are too. Motivated to make a difference, I've decided to attempt a 130 km trek through the Himalayan mountains to Everest Base Camp in the beginning of November 2024, aiming to raise funds for those in need and donating to MAP (Medical aid Palestine) Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. We provide immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.

The heartbreaking reality is since October 7th, the United Nations has documented that over 10,000 individuals, half of which are children, lost their lives in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, with an additional 30,000 sustaining injuries. The Gaza Strip has witnessed the displacement of 1.5 million people, forcing them out of their homes and into hospitals, desperately seeking shelter with nowhere else to turn.

We can make a meaningful impact by contributing to the vital medical aid. To treat casualties, provide ambulances and lifesaving first aid to all those who need it.
