Hi my name is Leah johnson,

On 14th August, me and my friends will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity that means more to me than I can put into words.

When I was just 16 years old, I was diagnosed with stage 4 skin and liver cancer. I went through multiple surgeries, long hospital stays, and intensive treatment. At one point, I was told I only had months left to live.

Throughout the hardest time of my life, Teenage Cancer Trust gave me incredible support. They were there for me and my family when we needed it most, helping me through some of the darkest days. I genuinely don’t think I could have got through everything without them.

Thankfully, after everything I’ve been through, I’m now in remission and healthy enough to take on this challenge. Completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks is my way of giving something back to the charity that gave me so much hope and support.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Teenage Cancer Trust continue supporting young people facing cancer, just like they did for me.
