Hiking for Gaza: Fasting & Climbing for Healthcare
♂️ Climbing Snowdonia, Scafell Pike & Ben Nevis (Weather Permitting) – While Fasting for Gaza
Who I Am & Why I’m Doing This
My name is Omar Eymech, and I am a British Syrian doctor living in the UK. As a healthcare professional, I understand the devastating impact of medical shortages. I am taking on this challenge to raise funds for Palmed UK, a nonprofit supporting healthcare services in Gaza, where hospitals are on the brink of collapse.
The Crisis in Gaza
For weeks, no aid—including food and medical supplies—has been allowed into Gaza. Doctors are working in impossible conditions, patients are suffering, and lives are being lost. Palmed UK is working to provide life-saving medical aid, and I want to help by raising as much as possible.
Who Will Receive the Funds?
All funds raised will go directly to Palmed UK (https://www.palmedeurope.org/), a registered charity supporting medical services in Gaza. I will be adding Palmed UK as the official beneficiary, ensuring all donations go straight to them.

Raising Funds for Life-Saving Medical Aid
This will be a tough challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the struggles faced by those in Gaza. Every step I take will be in solidarity with them.
