Why This Matters to Us

We never imagined we would find ourselves in this position. When my waters broke unexpectedly at just 18 weeks pregnant, our world stopped. A scan confirmed our worst fear: our precious baby boy, James, had passed away. In an instant, our dreams of parenthood were shattered.

The grief that followed has been indescribable, not only for us but for our whole family. Yet, in James’ memory, we are determined to turn this heartbreak into something meaningful to raise awareness of pregnancy loss, offer hope, and support other families walking this painful path.

How We’re Making a Difference

On 27 September, we will be joined by our family and friends in hiking Slieve Donard, Northern Ireland’s highest peak. Every step we take will be for James and for every baby who's memory deserves to be carried into the light.
