My name is Had, and I’m the oldest of five siblings raised by a single mother . Growing up, I watched my mother’s resilience and determination to give us a better life, even though she never had the chance to learn or work. Her sacrifices taught me the value of education, faith, and seizing opportunities, no matter how small.
Now, I have a once in a lifetime chance to participate in the Hijra Walk, a spiritual journey retracing the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) migration from Mecca to Madinah. This isn’t just a trip, it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and inspire.
But I can’t do this alone. The cost of the Hijra Walk is £3,995 (excluding flights and visa), and as a student, it’s a challenge to gather these funds. Your donation, no matter how small, will help me take this life-changing step.
This journey is more than just a personal dream. It’s a chance to honour my mother’s struggles, to represent the voices of women who were denied opportunities, and to come back stronger, wiser, and ready to give back.
Please, support my Hijra Walk. Every contribution brings me closer to this transformative experience. Share this campaign with your friends and family, and keep me in your du’as.
JazakAllah khairan for your generosity and support.
With gratitude Had
