Highfields School MiniBus Fundraiser Newark

Highfields School needs a new minibus, and we would like your help.

Our existing minibus, a reliable companion for our school community, now needs retirement. We aim to replace it with a new one that all our teachers can drive, enhancing our collective ability to support our students' extracurricular activities.

Another reason for changing the current bus is that only a person with a Certificate D1 license can drive the current minibus. Less than five of the schools' current staff hold D1 licenses, and these are mostly more senior staff. More drivers mean more opportunities for our children to participate in away days, sports events, and excursions.

Thanks to your invaluable support, the FFH has already raised £15,000 towards the cost of the minibus. However, we still need to raise another £24,400 as soon as possible to ensure our teachers and children have the best bus for their future journeys.

We are now registering with Gift Aid, so any personal donations made here will attract a 25p rebate from HMRC on every £1 you donate, paid directly into the FFH bank account (T&Cs apply). Equally, any business donations benefit from Gift Aid from a tax perspective.

This GoFundMe page will close on Friday, May 10th 2024, and all monies raised upon clearance will be transferred to the school to buy the bus. A reduced-specification bus may be purchased if we do not meet our desired fundraising target, so please give generously so we can buy the best bus possible for the school and our children.
