INEQUALITY
Inequitable resources for mental health education promote disadvantages for social and economic mobility for lower-income families. The outcome threatens public safety and increases the un-homed, and unwell population.
EQUALITY?
Our community believes in providing proactive access to information to youth, to support modern-day challenges, as reported by the CDC e.g 1 in 6 Youth reported making a suicide plan in 2019. In the same year, 1 in 3 high school students experienced sadness, and the isolation of COVID-19, only created a greater social divide.
EQUITY
We add value by partnering with local community organizations to provide equitable access to life skill education, where we teach everyday behavioral practices to build mental muscles for effective COMMUNICATION, NUTRITION, and FITNESS.
We foster learning environments that take an aggressive approach to supporting the next generation with skillsets to enrich their emotional and physical intelligence, during stressful times.
OUTCOME = JUSTICE for ALL
Students learn how to:
- Improve emotional health through communication and holistic techniques for stress management
- Boost confidence
- Self-esteem
