A few words from our writer/director, Martin Lee

Hi everyone!

We are so excited to introduce you to Highball Apart! This drama is about Min, a failed writer, attempting to reconnect with two old friends at a dim sum restaurant they used to frequent. With an aesthetic that highlights the traditional red and yellow of dim sum restaurants and the neon lights of Boston’s historic Chinatown, this short film is Wong Kar Wai  meets Hong Sang Soo. It should attract fans of those directors, as well as those who enjoy dramas of all types.

The goal of this project is to provide filmmaking opportunities to the Asian and Asian-American community in Boston. In order for the project to come to life, we will need your help to reach our targeted goal of $3,800!
