High School Firefighter Program Class 7

Hey everyone! First off, we’d like to thank each and every one of you for making your way over to our page. We are Class 7 of the Fairfax County High School Firefighter Program. Our class is comprised of 15 FCPS Students who alternate days of the week going to school and going to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Academy to achieve the Virginia state certifications of Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2, and Hazardous Material Operations.

It is a tradition in the fire service to extend our thanks to the instructors, and the department as a whole, which has facilitated this course and our certifications. This is accomplished by a unique, often hand-made, gift to the Chief of the academy, which will be proudly displayed in the public areas of the academy.

It is also tradition that the graduating class creates a logo that represents their class as a whole. This logo will be put onto uniform shirts and will be worn at our class graduation.

Since September of this school year, we have worked tirelessly to gain the skills and knowledge to pass both the state firefighter written exams and well as the practical exams. This is all while working our normal high school lineups to fulfill our regular high school graduation requirements.

With that, we kindly ask that you consider donating to our class so we can uphold a proud fire service tradition.

Thank you again!

Any unused funds will be forwarded to Class 8 of the Fairfax County High School Firefighter Program.
