Becca's High Risk Pregnancy

Becca and Chris Groenwold were blessed with a twin pregnancy in addition to their two beautiful children Haven (9) and Cohen (7). Due to a previous C-section, a complication arose when one of the babies attached internally at the incision line. Now the placenta is growing through the uterine incision and into Becca's bladder and around her bowl. Becca is now 23 weeks along and living at Abbott Hospital for close monitoring of her and the babies until their arrival. After the babies are delivered via C-section, Becca will have a total hysterectomy, and part of her bladder removed. This will be a long recovery for her.

This will have a significant financial impact on the family as well, as they continue to reside in Baxter, MN. With this fundraiser, we are attempting help lessen the burden of income loss and upcoming NICU stay for this wonderful family. Please consider helping them in anyway you are able.

She has a wonderful support system of family, friends, church members, in addition to very knowledgeable nursing and doctor care at this time. God has been present throughout this journey. He has enabled Becca to remain positive so she can continue be there for her children and husband (via facetime) living 2.5 hours away.
