High Risk Mama and NICU Baby Milo’s Unexpected Expenses
Donation protected
This year so far has been full of unexpected events. I am a middle school science teacher in Savannah, Georgia, and pregnant with my husband's and my first child.
On April 30th, I was sent to the ER because I was leaking fluid. It turned out my water ruptured at 25 weeks pregnant, and I was immediately admitted to the long-term high-risk pregnancy unit. The goal is to make it to 34 weeks before I deliver, and then baby Milo will be admitted into the NICU.
Being confined to the hospital has caused unexpected bills and expenses that we will need to cover that are outside of the hospital bills. My husband Sean also starts pharm school at the end of June, so we will be adding student loans to our plate as well.
This is a small part of our story, and we can't wait to see little Milo come out healthy and strong when it's time for him to get here. Thank you.
