High-Performace Tennis Training,
My name is Matias Moran, I am 13 years old and I am a passionate tennis player with the dream of becoming pro one day!
I started playing tennis at the age of three and haven't stopped since! PLEASE CLICK “READ MORE” !!This year I finally convinced my parents to let me be homeschooled so I could attend a high-performance academy 20 hours per week (instead of 12 hours I was doing before) and the results were amazing! It was a huge milestone towards fulfilling my dream, but unfortunately, my dad got laid-off from his job and I had to stop the academy for now.
I started playing tennis at the age of 3 at a public park in Boca Raton, FL and I found my passion. Then I started going to a tennis academy at the age of 5, and I have been playing very seriously until now!
During the last couple of years, I have been working very hard as a developing junior. At this stage, I am focusing more on developing my technique, as well as my mental & physical development, instead of chasing ranking points in the junior tournament circuit. But tournamentes are fun too!
In 2019, I didn't stop training all year round. Instead of having a normal spring break my passion drove me somewhere else...I got to be a ballperson for the Miami Open (Masters 1000) where I got to see the best tennis players of the world, as close as it could get, on the court, for 2 weeks. My first year I got to meet and talk to the G.O.A.T one of my true heroes of all time... ROGER FEDERER! Also, I earned the 2019 ballboy of the year award!
These past months 2 months I have been training on my own with my parent's help. My short term goal is to raise money to be able to go back to the academy and continue with my development as a high-performance tennis player.
