Hello brothers and sisters. My name is Hannah Lewis. I have created this Go Fund me on behalf of my Uncle Richard.

My aunt Hideko has ascended to the spirit world this morning. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer. She did not want to take Chemotherapy but wanted to go the natural route taking special ginseng tablets instead. Last week she was having trouble breathing, so she was taken to the hospital and then put into home hospice care. The hospital brought a hospital bed and a nurse was scheduled to come everyday. But after only one day back at home, Hideko ascended this morning while my uncle was reading scripture (hoon dok hae) to her while holy songs played in the background. She was a very faithful and devoted member of our family and community who always put God's will first.

We are grateful she could pass very peacefully at home in the room where she has created a beautiful atmosphere always doing spiritual conditions of bowing and praying late into the night and rising early in the morning even at an older age.

We will be holding a funeral service but are asking those who knew Hideko and her family to kindly help us in making this a most beautiful occasion to celebrate her life and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
