Hidden Figures Screening and Panel

A group of professional women that are passionate about inspiring local young women to pursue STEM careers are organizing a special screening of the film Hidden Figures followed by an exclusive panel discussion featuring women of color in STEM fields.

The purpose of the screening is to inspire local young women to pursue STEM careers by increasing accesses to the Hidden Figures story and increasing awareness of our own local “hidden figures” of the New Orleans women of color in STEM fields.

The screening will take place at the Broad Theater (636 North Broad) on Wednesday, March 8th at 9am.

We are offering this opportunity to 115 young women at no cost and would appreciate your support in funding this experience. Your donation would cover the cost of transportation, movie screening and refreshments for the girls.
