Hicks Ohana: Road To Recovery

Hello friends and family, I am doing a fundraiser to support my best friend and her family on the long road to recovery. Matt Hicks is the husband of my best friend Lisa and was recently diagnosed with two aggressive brain tumors that require immediate removal and chemo/radiation therapy thereafter. Matt and Lisa are parents to two wonderful boys Kalani 14 and Keanu 12. Lisa is a kindergarten teacher on Kauai and Matt works in construction. Their family lost quite a bit of income when the Covid Pandemic hit and are now facing the fight of their lives. The outcome of what’s ahead is unknown and the medical costs and travel are going to be a very heavy burden. If you’re familiar with living in Kauai, most serious medical issues are taken care of on the island of Oahu. This means airfare, hotel stays, travel and hospital bills will accumulate quickly.
