If you know me, you know I’ve always had this mix of heart and hustle — and maybe just enough stubbornness to try and fix something that feels impossible to fix.
For years, I worked in staffing and marketing, watching how broken hiring really is — especially in construction and the trades. Business owners can’t find reliable people, and good workers get overlooked because of resumes and red tape.
So, I decided to do something about it.
I’ve spent the last year building a company called Plenty of Hires — a software platform that helps match construction companies with workers based on skills, personality, and culture fit (not just resumes). It’s been a long road of learning, late nights, and pouring every bit of myself (and my savings) into something I believe can change lives.
And now, I’m at the point where I need a little help from my people — the ones who’ve seen me grind, rebuild, and keep going no matter what.
What I’m Asking For
I’m raising funds to help finish the tech and help me launch. I'm not looking for handouts but instead a hand up, to help me accomplish my goals. The world needs it, and with more help I can reach even more people.
Any money donated will go to the last of our development costs. Our full software will be finished in just a few weeks.
The rest will go toward marketing and getting the platform in front of real employers and workers who need it.
I’m not asking anyone to be an investor on this platform — just hoping for a few believers who want to give.
If you can donate, it means the world to me.
If you can’t, I completely understand and don't feel bad at all — even sharing this or cheering me on helps more than you know.
If You’d Rather Back It as a Project
I'm also in the process of setting up a Kickstarter for people who want to support me in a more “reward-based” way (think stickers, merch, shout-out, or free access to the platform).
I'll post that here once it's live.
And while this GoFundMe and Kickstarter are focused on helping me get Plenty of Hires to launch, I do plan to open the door to equity stake investors early in 2026 — once the platform reaches revenue. For now, I’m focused on maintaining full control of the project so it grows the right way, with the right people, and the right foundation.
❤️ Why It Means So Much
This isn’t just a business idea — it’s something I’ve poured my heart, soul, sweat, and plenty of tears into because I know the people and businesses it helps and I know the world needs this.
The construction industry is full of hardworking, good people who just want reliable workers, stable jobs, and less nonsense in between. I believe I'm on track to make that a reality — right here, from South Dakota.
So if you’ve ever believed in me, this is your chance to bet on me. I won’t waste it. I promise. Go big or go home as they say!
Either way thank you for being in my corner, always. I thank the Lord every day for putting this in front of me, giving me the courage to take on a project of this size, and because the world needs it and it's my job to make it happen!
