I hope this message finds you well. I am writing with a heavy heart to share some very difficult news about my dear friend, Vangie Dawang, who has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She is about to undergo surgery, followed by further treatments, but the medical costs are significant and, as a non-resident of Australia, she is unable to access financial assistance.

This news is especially heartbreaking because, just two years ago, Vangie's husband Raul Dawang was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He had surgery at Flinders Hospital in Adelaide, but his recovery has been slow, and he is still not fully recovered—both physically and emotionally. The toll it has taken on them as a family has been immense, and financially, they have been struggling to cover medical expenses for both his ongoing care and now Vangie's treatments.

Vangie, Raul and her family are facing a challenging and overwhelming situation, and they need our support. The cost of her surgery, chemotherapy, and other necessary treatments is substantial, and without the ability to pay for it themselves, they are turning to their community for help.
