Help Mike Visit His Family in Iraq

Hi, my name is Ahmed Hussain, but most of you know me as Mike. Grace and peace from The Lord of Heaven and His Son Christ Jesus. I'm originally from Iraq, but I came to the United States in 2010 after serving as a combat translator for the US Army for eight years. Since that time I have not traveled back home to see my family. In 2017 the LORD sent evangelists from City Church to knock on my door and invite me to church. After attending CCI for a short time, I surrendered my life to the LORD and was baptized. I have been a member at CCI since then and am so thankful for the way the LORD has been growing my faith in Him over these past six years.

Recently, I feel like the LORD is calling me to go home and see my family in Iraq. I plan to stay for at least three months. I believe the LORD is calling me to share Christ with my own people while I am there. I am not yet sure exactly what opportunities the LORD will open up for me while I am there, but I am confident that the LORD will guide my steps, provide all that I need to fulfill his will, and protect me as I trust in Him.
