I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my dear friend Mia. Just months ago, her husband Sal suffered multiple strokes, leaving him unable to work and now in a long-term rehab facility. Sal was the sole provider for their family, but Social Security covers his care completely, leaving Mia with no income to support herself or their three beloved cats.

To make matters worse, the homeowner is selling their house, and Mia now faces losing her home. She loves her cats deeply and refuses to leave them behind—even if it means living in her car. Mia has always been the one giving back to others in our community, and now she is going through unimaginable emotional, physical, and financial struggles all at once.
