Help NBYO Musicians Represent New Brunswick on Tour!

This summer, over 100 young musicians from the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra (NBYO) will embark on a major tour across Eastern Canada — with concerts in Montreal, Ottawa, and beyond — sharing their passion and talent with audiences across the country.

Among them are seven exceptional students who are stepping into the spotlight for a special recital — and they need your support to make this unforgettable experience possible.

Meet the Performers

This spring, the Moncton Youth Orchestra held its annual Concerto Competition. The jury was so impressed by the level of performance that they named five solo winners — a first in our history:

Benjamin Lewis – Violin

Nathaniel Hebert – Flute

Leon Wagaarachchi – Trumpet

Selena Tenass – Trombone

Emilie Duncan – Violin

To celebrate these outstanding musicians, the Moncton Youth Orchestra is hosting a public recital featuring all five winners, supported by:

Samuel Fong and Shiwoo Lee – two fellow student pianists

While the recital is organized by the Moncton Youth Orchestra, all seven performers are also proud members of the NBYO, and we are using this opportunity to raise funds for their participation in the summer Eastern Canada Tour.

The Goal

Each of these eight students is working to raise $750 toward their individual NBYO tour fees — a total of $5,250.

But we’ve set our campaign goal at $10,000 because...
