Support for Jill Adcock’s Recovery Journey

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Jill Adcock, who has been courageously battling serious health challenges since November 2022. What began as a persistent, unexplained infection led to the devastating loss of most of the vision in her left eye. Despite countless tests and doctor visits, answers have been hard to come by.

On April 12, 2025, Jill was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with a severe bowel blockage. She underwent emergency surgery and now lives with a colostomy. Complications quickly followed—sepsis, E. coli infections, and fluid buildup in her lungs and around her liver. Most recently, doctors discovered a pseudoaneurysm beneath her stomach requiring another procedure.

Jill is currently in the hospital and faces a long and difficult road to recovery. When she's well enough, she will transition to an acute care facility and then, hopefully, into a rehabilitation program to help her regain strength and mobility.

Jill is unable to work during this time, and the financial burden of ongoing medical care, recovery, and daily living expenses is overwhelming. We’re asking friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals to consider supporting her through this GoFundMe.
