HELP THE HOMELESS STAY WARM
Donation protected
This year, over the holidays, thousands of people have been affected by the winter storm that swept the nation, claiming more than 50 lives across the US and counting. During that time we couldn’t help but think of the thousands of people on the streets that would have had to face those nights in sub zero temperatures. Although we do not have the solution nor the resources to end homelessness, my friend Juan and I, with your help, are passionate about making a small difference. Tonight, more than 65,000 New Yorkers will sleep in homeless shelters, imagine how many are on the streets? We would like to start by hitting a small goal of $2000 to supply 25 homeless people with the option to sleep in a sleeping bag that can handle temperatures as low as 0ºF. The sculpted hood will give the option to keep the head warm with a compression sack included for easy travel. We are starting small and hoping to continue to give, depending on the help of our friends and family. Please note that any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated!
