Frank Adoption Center and the Nepal Adoptive Families Association (NAFA) are teaming up to bring warmth to the children of Nepal. Winter in Nepal is cold and freezing temperatures, coupled with a dramatic fuel shortage caused by recent political upheaval at the India-Nepal border, means the children in the orphanages are in need of warm socks, coats and clothing.
Our goal is to raise at least $2,000 as quickly as possible, so that our team can buy these things and distribute them to, at minimum, 5 orphanages in and around Kathmandu. Our in country partners will purchase the items and ensure they are delivered to the children who need them most. They will continue to check in after the items have been distributed, to ensure they have reached the children and are being used as promised.
