Hello!
We are UF GMMA (Global Medical Missions Alliance here at the University of Florida), we are humbly asking for any contributions toward our mission trip to Honduras Dec 14-21 this year to serve the community there in light of God's love through healthcare and evangelism.
GMMA is a Christ centered non-profit organization aimed to bring God's healing and grace throughout the world, both locally and globally. We've had the privilege of being able to serve Him here around our college campus by partnering with orgs such as Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House Charity, Giving Garden, Grace Marketplace, Interconnect, North Florida Sewing Center, etc. It has been a blessing to serve humbly and devotedly toward His kingdom, and we all the more hope to push this pursuit from around us to beyond our borders.
GMMA supports ministries worldwide, reaching countries like Mexico, Cambodia, the Philippines, Honduras, and more. The organization also offers college students, especially those in the medical field, a unique opportunity to go and provide medical care to local communities in these countries. Working alongside experienced healthcare professionals, students help assist in delivering medical services, praying over the people they encounter, and sharing the Gospel which is the ultimate life giver.
Testimony from one of our member:
I've been able to serve in Honduras this past year in December 2023, and to say that it was a catalyst in furthering my walk with God is an understatement. His heart was so evident in the way He blessed the villages we'd visit, and truly each of us as we served in joy. I will never forget the way He touched us there. The video above is a small documentary recounting our trip.
Our goal is $3,000 because it is half the cost we need to send our team to Honduras. We have 4 people going, with each person needing to raise $1,500 (air fare + living costs). Any amount will help our members be less burdened financially to do God's will
Thank you so much.
Blessings,
Joy, Esther, Albert, and Billy
"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”"
