Help with Funeral Expenses

It is with deep sadness that I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of my beloved mom, Rita Filowitz.

 

For decades my mom had battled major health issues, which includes three heart attacks, three kidney transplants, and three strokes. Despite her medical obstacles, as a single mom with two jobs she did her best to give me a better life than she had. She continued to work, travel, and live life as best as possible despite her significant challenges, until her final transplant in 2016 left her bedridden with an undetectable disease called, CMV Even though my mom wasn’t able to walk in years, and function as easily as most individuals do, her spirit remained positive, and she was still able to beat anyone in jeopardy until these last few days.

 

My family and I are absolutely devastated by my mom’s passing, and due to her significant health issues at such a young age she was unable to secure sufficient life insurance. I hate even asking for any help form the ones we love but I want to be able to give her the services she deserves and I know she touched the lives of so many that would love to see her rest comfortably.

 

All funds raised will go directly towards my mom’s funeral and burial. Please consider donating if you are able to do so – my family and I greatly appreciate any amount that you can spare – small or large.
