The children loved our Trim Trail. Whether it was lunchtime or breaktime, you could be sure the children would make good use of it having fun swinging and climbing with their friends. It was very much a playground favourite! Sadly, in the summer term, the Trim Trail reached the end of its life and had to be taken down...
The children are desperate for a new one but, sadly, we know the £15,000 required to purchase and install it is just not available in our school funds at the moment. We have therefore decided to make purchasing a new Trim Trail our fundraising priority for the new academic year.
Lots of events are taking place this year. If you are able to donate and support our school with this, we'd be hugely grateful. Every pound really does matter.
Next Event
The next event is a whole school fun run, 'Dress up, Dash & Donate' which is taking place during Healthy Lifestyles Week on Wednesday 20th May. Parents are warmly invited to join the children for what promises to be a really fun event for our school community.
Previous events which people have used as fundraisers for our Trim Trail appeal were the Nottingham 10k in March and the Robin Hood Half Marathon back in September. We know children have also come up with their own fundraising ideas including facing their fears by climbing very tall trees, organising craft sales, local litter picking and much more.
We know times are hard and are grateful for all your support.
