Vera Murray, 88 years young, had all she owned swept away by a tornado that passed through the Farmersville Texas area during the Christmas holidays. As the tornado was bearing down she had just gotten off the phone with her son Bill, she was looking for a safe refuge in her home, with pillows in hand as the roof was ripped off her home above her and the room she was about to enter was blown away. While the home was demolished she was left standing right where she was with bits of glass and splinters in her clothes and hair, but otherwise untouched. It has been said that God still has another plan for Mrs. Murray! The rubble left behind of her home and two smaller rental homes were demolished and hauled off in trucks this week. Currently she is living with her son, Bill Murray, and was left without the funds to rebuild her home or the rental income she relied on from the smaller homes on her property. Bill Murray is a co-worker of mine at Novinium and we are working on a project for Oncor. During times like this the Novinium team pulls together to help one another out and lift each other up to get life back to normal. We all see these things in the news and many times we know little of those whose lives have been affected by these powerful storms. I'm reaching out to all my Facebook friends to share this page so that we can help Mrs. Murray rebuild. Anything you can donate is a blessing as we try to raise $20,000 in thirty days to get Mrs. Murray's life back on track. Thank you in advance for any way you can help.
