Wesley Miriye is the first born son of Rev Pilipo Miriye and Late Glopa Miriye. He resides in Batavia, Ohio. Wesley had last seen his mom in 2013 when she was here on his dad's medical operation at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. Wesley's parents have rendered distinctive and outstanding services in the Lord's Kingdom: serving in Papua New Guinea as pastor and teacher, and missionaries in Nigeria, Africa. His mom passed away yesterday after suffering from a condition called "Osteomyelitis" -is the infection of the bones. To lose a family member esp. a parent while being so far away from them is really a difficult situation to accept and bear. He is planning to leave next week Tuesday to go to Papua New Guinea if all goes as planned. However, the air fare is way too much for the round trip. The cheapest air fare ticket would cost about $2,800. At this delicate moment, faith has urged us to trust God that He has every reason and season for everything (Ec.3:1-8). To help send him to go to the funeral to view his moms body is every kids nightmare. Nonetheless, we trust that God would grant him strength and comfort as he is on his way. We greatly rejoice in her testimony that, she has gone before us to be with the ONE WHOM she loves so dearly and lived for.
