Helping Haven

Hi, this is Mark and I am asking folks to help my wonderful and talented long-time friend Haven to fund a surgery... specifically a biopsy and surgical excision of a mass in the abdomen.

A few months ago Haven noticed a swelling in her abdomen area. It became more difficult to bear over time and now after some tests and a mounting medical bill, it is being diagnosed as an abdominal tumor... most likely benign, but a biopsy will be necessary.

The tumor is growing and the pain in Haven's abdomen is increasing each day. And the added stress and worry of needing an immediate surgery and not being sure you can afford it... that's a less shocking but no less hurtful sort of pain.

So I am trying to raise just enough to cover the cost of surgery plus a little bit to cover her basic expenses for the few weeks  that she won't be able to work.

Haven has been there for me many times when I needed it. Her friends know how fun and generous she is... let's help her out. She needs us now.
