Richard’s Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Our names are Kayla Weyenberg and Nicole Grall and we are Richard’s older sisters. In the midst of the pandemic in 2020, our little brother had a small intimate wedding to the love of his life. For the last two years, they have built a beautiful life together. Rick and his wife, Rebecca, love spoiling their nieces and nephews and their two crazy cats. Some of their favorite activities include camping and hiking at our amazing Wisconsin State Parks.
Jump to the last few weeks of 2022. A suspected concussion caused us to learn that Richard had a large mass in the frontal lobe of his brain. Emergency surgery to remove the mass revealed that he is now fighting a grade IV astrocytoma.
There has been such an outpouring of support for our family and so many people asking, “How can I help?”
Right now we know two things:
1. Cancer Sucks
2. Kicking Cancer’s Butt is Expensive
The best way to help Rick right now, on top of your prayers and well-wishes, is to make sure he has the funds needed to continue his chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Rick has never been the kind of person to ask for help, but always the first one willing to lend a helping hand. Since he won’t ask for the help he needs, we’ll do it for him - that’s what big sisters are for, right?!
Thank you in advance for your generosity! You are making a HUGE difference for Richard! ❤️
