Hi Vivid Team Here. We are starting a GoFund me for Erika Berko. She is our nurse injector at our Chandler office and has been with us for over 2 years. Erika is 34 years old. Here at Vivid we are a family and always have each other's back. While at the peak of her career, she unexpectedly suffered a stroke on the evening of 12/27/22. This has rocked our practice and has affected all of our staff. She is more than an injector, she is our friend and we can't imagine what she is going through. Erika is currently in the hospital, unable to walk, not able to fully see and experiencing many other life-changing symptoms. Unfortunately, life does not stop or pause for anyone. Erika has been out of work since the incident and has an enormous amount of medical, PT, and life bills ahead of her. While we wish we could cover it all, we know this will help her more than you know. This incident has been an eye-opener for all of us regarding how precious and fragile life truly is. While we can not change what happened we CAN all come together to help ease the financial stress and hardship that lies ahead. Her healing, rest, and recovery should be her number one priority - not finances. On behalf of the vivid skin and laser staff, we appreciate any support for Erika. Anything will help. I know she will see this and be so thankful as well.
