Help Jimmy Beat His Cancer

Hi, my name is David Tierney and I am helping my friend Jimmy Gilmore, "uncle Jay", raise money to cover the costs of his cancer treatments.

Jimmy is a big hearted guy who is friendly and generous and now there is a chance for those of us who know him to give back when he needs it most. I know Jimmy because he has been a friend and mentor to my son who fell in love with downhill biking and benefits from Jimmy's enthusiastic support, guidance and encouragement.

Jimmy was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 1st. It has spread from his breast to his lymph nodes on his right side. He is scheduled for surgery on Thursday, July 29th, after which he will likely be going through chemo and/or radiation.

His health insurance is supposed to cover his health costs above $10,000, and his bills are mounting. So the goal is $10,000.

Otherwise he says he is cared for by his girlfriend is helping him with care and transportation; Dave Frame is helping him with his work and he has other friends helping with cooking and cleaning as needed.

Jimmy wants to get through this so he can get back to biking, fishing, and helping kids learn how to ride their bikes. Let's help him! Give what you can. Thanks so much.
