Join me in my battle against cancer!

Hi friends, as most of you are now aware, in March this year I was diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma (stomach cancer).

We marched into battle against this formidable foe armed with biopsies, chemotherapy and a partial gastrectomy. Tragically, we were unable to kill off the enemy before it spread to my lymph nodes and I am now staged 4.

I am now looking at long-term systemic treatment with more chemotherapy and immunotherapy, with the hopes that a good response will eventually enable me to be a candidate for curative surgery.

I have been unable to work since my diagnosis and it looks like this illness will be with me for quite a while longer. Not sure when or if I will be able to return to work. This has put us under financial stress and it is for this reason that I ask you, my friends and family, for help.

In addition to covering immediate medical needs, I would like to be able to explore the possibility of treatment at specialist gastric cancer centres, possibly in Asia (experts in this type of cancer).
