Griselda and Cris have recently been faced with devastating news. Their beloved Zeus, just two years old, suddenly lost the use of his back legs on Sunday. After multiple emergency veterinary visits, he was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a serious condition that requires urgent surgical intervention.
Zeus was transferred to the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Center, where he is now being prepared for emergency spinal surgery. He is a vibrant, energetic dog with so much life ahead of him, and this procedure offers the best chance to restore his mobility and preserve his quality of life.
Unfortunately, the cost of advanced veterinary care can be overwhelming, even when surgery is the only option. While we wish cost weren’t a factor, the financial burden is significant.
We are reaching out to our friends and community for support. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go toward Zeus’s surgery and his long road to recovery. Your generosity will help give him the chance to walk, run, and play again.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this incredibly difficult time.
