Hi there. My name is Dennis Carwana and I need your help. I am 82 years years of age. I planned my retirement to Bali quite a few years ago & made the move a bit over 15 years ago. I had a small superanuation balance & believed it to be sufficient for a modest lifestyle.

I purchased a long term lease of an apartment in Kuta Bali.

In 2018 everything changed when Covid hit & I had a bad motor vehicle accident needing A hip reconstruction in Australia, leaving me with serious mobility restrictions. I am unable to shower, feed or dress myself.

Covid caused the closing of the apartment complex as the owners declared bankruptcy. I was unable to occupy the apartment for 3 years & had to find alternative accomadation At around $2500 per month. I also have to return to Australia every 6 months for medical check up & prescribed pain & diabities medication. Because of my disability My carer needs accompany me to Australia. The cost for air fares & airbnb is around $4800 for 2 weeks every 6 months

The situation is: If I don't leave Bali I wiill be charged overstay fee of $100 per day. If that is not paid after 60 days I would go to prison until it is paid. Please help if you can.
