Help for Kamali’s cancer surgery and treatments.

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Yvette; I'm fundraising for my dear daughter Kamali who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer. In September of last year, she started experiencing symptoms and then had to deal with losing her grandmother in October. With all that was going on with our family dealing with grief and a pandemic, she couldn't get a mammogram done until June. In July, she had the tumor biopsied, and a week later came the devastating results. I, on the other hand, is another story. Despite her circumstance, she is in good spirits and keeping her faith, she has her good and bad days of mentally struggling with her diagnosis, but she is staying positive she will get through this ordeal. She is taking Tamoxifen, which has some severe side effects that she is now dealing with, but it is to help prevent the tumor from progressing and spreading to her lymph nodes.

Despite the tumor being a stage 2, it is estrogen +, progesterone + and Her 2 negative, but the tumor grade is at a 3, which means it is aggressive and is growing fast. We would appreciate any donation because it gives her a chance at getting the best treatments for a better outcome. Like many people in this country, she doesn't have health insurance and has been paying for her doctor visits out of pocket with some help from myself and her aunt. The costs for everything are starting to increase as she needs to prepare to get bloodwork, scans, surgery and treatments, which can be a financial burden.

Kamali has never had any serious illnesses throughout her life, so this came as a total shock but proves no one is invincible, and life is unpredictable, and we must keep the faith and push through what life throws at us.

While this is the beginning of an unplanned journey, she will muscle through and rise. I'm asking for your help in donations, so she'll be able to get surgery as soon as possible and other necessary treatments to survive this unfortunate diagnosis. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and donate whatever your heart dictates. Also, please share.

The funds will be used for an MRI, bloodwork, lumpectomy surgery, possible radiation and aftercare.

If you clicked and read her story, thank you, and I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to read it.

Thank You!
Yvette
