Hello friends - I am in dire need of a double lung transplant. I will be having my surgery at UCLA Medical Center. I got placed on the transplant waiting list on April 14, 2016! What a great phone call that was! The smiling family pictures below are from a few years ago when I only had to wear my oxygen at night. Now it's on 24/7. So grateful for my 02!

I now have difficulties doing normal everyday things. Sometimes just sitting doing nothing is difficult. I'm very thankful for my oxygen, but even that doesn't help at times. I've had asthma since I was 15 and it turned intobronchiectasis, making it very hard to catch my breathe.
Normally, I am a very young 61 year old with lots of energy and a great love for life! I have a loving husband, 2 daughters, 2 sisters, 7 grandkids, 1 great grandson, 2 son-in-laws , 1 brother-in-law, nieces and nephews. I love them all so, so much! They are my ❤️.
I am raising $ for the copays, deductibles and anti-rejection medications that I will have to take for the rest of my life. (40-50 pills a day to start)
Your prayers and support mean the world to me. I want to live life again, continue volunteering and spend quality time with my family and friends. I'm so Blessed to get this second chance...
Please keep me in your prayers. God Bless you, and thank you again for supporting me!
P.S. IF you are an organ donor, thank you! If not, please think about becoming one. You could be a future Hero to someone! Also a big shout out to my BFF & Hubby for their TLC!
Lots of Love and Gratitude,
Luanne
