Help our family stay afloat

Donation protected
I have had financing strains and pains throughout the last three years that have only continued to bog us down. I have continued to do what I can to be a giving person to help friends in need, and now, even though it is hard to do, I need to ask for financial assistance.

Some of these issues that we have persevered through are: divorce court, parental time court twice for the safety of my daughter, a vehicle when I divorced, a transmission replacement (just for that vehicle's engine to blow a year later), a replacement vehicle until it stopped working and finally another vehicle (which also ended up having its rear axel break requiring it to be replaced). I am still paying payments on this vehicle.

I own a house that is not in the state where I live. I rented it out as a duplex for 5-6 years. It was going fine until this past year when we ended up with several different renters that didn't pay and damaged my property. I have almost sold this property two times. The first sale fell through after my primary renter signed the agreement - they backed out because the new renter for the basement unit wasn't paying. The second attempt was a friend of a family member that helped clean up the mess from the last renter - but they backed out because they had switched jobs and couldn't get financing. Then in August, I had a long-time friend in an emergency needing a place to stay. I couldn't resist lending a hand with a vacant home and a friend in need. This temporary situation turned into a lease agreement and interest in buying my property; however, they have medical and financial difficulties, and the inconsistent payments have not covered the mortgage. I am currently 2 months behind and applying for hardship assistance.

On top of my mortgage, I also have to pay for the house I rent to live in with my family, and the rent has continued to rise. We currently pay $1800 a month (not including the utilities).

I don't want to be evicted; we are very close to that because I chose instead not to have my mortgage foreclosed on. I'm hoping for financial help to keep us afloat until my renter's assistance and my hardship application are approved.

This assistance would go towards rent, gas and utilities (my current electric bill is $400).

Thank you for reading my troubles; I hope you are able to consider donating; thank you.
