http://www.lightbearers.org/arise/ My name is Kasey Thomason, I am a 35 year old stay at home father who is currently very involved with prison ministry and Discover Bible School studies in the community. I am raising money for an upcoming, 3 month long Bible worker/evangelism training class, through the Arise training program in Jasper, Oregon.
Since the day I became a baptized Seventh-day Adventist Christian, I have felt a very strong and real call to serving in ministry for Jesus Christ. It is very obvious to me that we are living in the end times. With this in mind, it is even more important to spread the love of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all who need to hear His words. This training will better equip me to help others learn of God's amazing and life changing love in Alaska and throughout the world.
The money will be used to pay $4,500 in tution, $35 application fee, $100 for books, $300 in fuel fees for sharing transportation costs.
The first $2,250 is due on June 24, 2016. All additional funds are due July 24, 2016.
The reason this means so much to me, is that I believe that Jesus is returning soon. I want to do my part as a Christian by spreading the Gospel as the great commission calls for. I enjoy studying with people about Jesus. I enjoy the challenge of meeting new people and leaving my comfort zone. I am willing to do anything to help populate the kingdom by planting heavenly seeds, that the Spirit can nourish. I am really excited to bring back this education and combine it with my enthusiam to help my Palmer, Alaska church and conference build disciples for Jesus Christ.
I would be very thankful for your contribution. I know God will provide if it is truly His calling. I do not usually like asking for help, so this was a hard thing for me to do. I earnestly pray that God will bless each and every one you who support this endeavor with prayer or financial support. Praise be to God......
