I managed to get a bit of emergency insurance to cover some of the medical bills. However, I still have a ton of bills to pay out of my pocket, besides what I've already put on my credit cards. Six days in the hospital is going to be very, very expensive. Then there are the surgery expenses.

I still have to pay my monthly living expenses as well.

My son contributed to the household financially, but unfortunately, he had to leave his job to take care of his mom for a while.
