Our father, Richard McDarment Sr., has been battling Prostate Cancer since 2013. He has now developed Myelofibrosis, which is a rare blood cancer, and the current treatments have not been successful. His condition has begun to affect his overall well being, and has hindered him from doing the things he once enjoyed. We are conducting this fundraiser in hopes to reach our goal to assist him with Dendritic Cell Therapy (DCT) for his condition as the cancer is now effecting his bones and blood.

Richard is a loving father of four children and eight grandchildren. In addition to being a dedicated family man, he has dedicated his life to the service of the Tule River Tribe.

In researching his treatment options, our father discovered Dendritic Cell Therapy (DCT). DCT has proven to increase the survival rates of persons diagnosed with cancer.

DCT is a natural immune cancer therapy. It activates the body’s own immune cells and helps the body to defeat cancer on its own. The main advantage of Dendritic Cell Therapy, compared to other methods of cancer treatment, is its high effectiveness with little or no side effects.

DCT has limited offerings in the United States and is extremely expensive. DCT is readily available and accessible in Europe.

Our family is raising money to provide our father with DCT treatment in Germany. Our family estimates that this procedure will cost approximately $75,000. Our family is seeking to raise $25,000 to assist our father in paying for the DCT treatment.

We love our father and hope this treatment will be successful in healing his cancer. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and will help assist the family in obtaining this much needed treatment for our father. Our family will also be hosting a series of fundraisers in Tule River and Porterville areas in the upcoming months to help support this effort. Your support would be appreciated.
