So, to answer a couple questions you might have.

What is the Kanakuk Institute?

The Kanakuk Institute is an 8 month discipleship program in Branson, Missouri. Its focus is to equip students with biblical skills and a newfound depth of biblical knowledge that can be carried into the world in any career path. This is done through an extensive study of the Bible as well as living in fellowship and accountability with other pursuant believers and leaders dedicated to ministering to young adults.

Why am I going?

For a long time now, I’ve wanted to expand my knowledge of the Bible and grow in my beliefs. This past year especially, I’ve realized just how much more prepared I want to be to live out my beliefs in a tangible way wherever I find myself. Dedicating 8 months to studying scripture and surrounding myself with the resources to ask questions, be inquisitive, and challenge myself is the perfect opportunity to grow in my faith and meditate on what God has for me in my future.

How can you help?

Firstly, you can help by praying for me! As excited as I am to begin this journey, I would be lying to say I am not equally apprehensive for such significant change. Pray that I would be open to how this time will shape me and my future, and that I will have the wisdom to understand God’s plans for me.

Secondly, if you feel inclined, you can offer financial support (guess you saw that coming, as this is a GoFundMe). This opportunity is not free, and any support you are willing to share would bless me immensely as I enter into this chapter. I will be working a part time job while attending, but tuition combined with living expenses is an ambitious undertaking, and I would love to invite you to join me on this journey. Any donations will go directly toward my tuition, which is $13,000. Anything beyond that will go towards meals/groceries throughout my time in Branson.
