Many of you have asked how you can support the Nester family during this difficult time.

Jake is a loving husband to his wife, Renee, and devoted father to his 2 sweet kiddos, Wes and Laken.  On September 5, 2020 Jake was taken to the emergency room with back pain. Things quickly changed as surgery to remove his gallbladder revealed a tumor on his esophagus and a suspicious area on his bile duct. 

A few days later, Jake was told that he had esophageal cancer that has spread to his bile duct and liver. This has been a shocking diagnosis for Jake, his family and community.  His oncologist was very positive when discussing his treatment plan with hopes to get Jake back on the field coaching as quickly as possible. 

The path of treatment will require chemo, radiation, and travel to MD Anderson for further evaluation.  Along with the treatments and travel will come many expenses and missed days of work.
