Hazel Needs Surgery
Donation protected
Over the past month our sweet dog Hazel has suffered from a severe bladder infection as well as bladder stones. We have tried weeks of medication with no change so unfortunately she will need surgery.
To be incredibly honest this couldn't have come at the worst time for our family. My husband's work tools were stolen from our home on Sept 8th a total lost of 1200.00. The same week Sept 8th-12th we didn't have power due to the Sumner Grade wild fire so we had to purchase a generator to keep all of the food in our fridge from spoiling, that cost 600.00. Two weeks later we had a plumbing back up and were informed that it would cost 1500.00 to replace the main pipe to our septic since tree roots had grown through it (my husband fixed everything for a quarter of the cost) and now our sweet girl is costing us about 2400.00 (I subtracted routine shots for both dogs).
Below you can see all of our vet bills that we have accrued in the last 30 days and I simply ask for any help you can possibly offer. Anyone who knows our family is very aware of how important both of our dogs are to us. During Covid-19 Hazel as been my special companion day in and day out. She gives me purpose to leave the house on the harder days and keeps me smiling always.
We ask that you please consider helping us take care of her surgery and medical expenses.
Thank you,
Samantha & Alexander Ferris
