Hi, my name is Larry Baker; it's been a rough start to 2022. I had heart surgery in March. A month later, I received a medication that negatively reacted with another medication I was receiving at the time. The medication mixup caused kidney failure and sepsis. I was rushed to the hospital and became unresponsive multiple times, needing to be "brought back. " I now suffer from severe neuropathy, which makes it hard to stand very long. Let alone the pain in my feet and legs. I lost my car and only mode of transportation due to fallout from my medical issues. I've been a hairstylist for many, many years. I would love to be able to go back to work again. I live in rural Alabama, a transplant from Las Vegas. I love my simple country life, although I have to drive up to Huntsville or down to Birmingham to see my doctors. I have the opportunity to get a nice reliable car for 5,500.
