My name is Alexis and I am reaching out with a heart full of hope.

Going to college has always been more than just a goal—it's been my dream and my way to create a brighter future for myself and my family. I have worked extremely hard to get here, but the reality is, the financial burden is heavy. Despite scholarships, financial aid, and working part-time, I am still needing some assistance to cover the remainder of my tuition.

As a first-generation college student, I am determined to work hard, stay focused, and make my family proud, especially my Popo. I wish he could've been here to see me take these steps and tell me how proud he is of me. I know he is watching me and saying, "I always knew you could do it, Lex. Now pull your head out of your butt and get to it!"

I am not asking for an easy way out; I am asking for a helping hand to make my dreams come true. Every dollar donated is not just money but encouragement, faith, and a reminder that I am not walking this path alone.
